How To Use It
Before applying water to the skin, massage the balm to dry skin and massage gently in circular motions all over the face. The texture will change from a solid to a liquid as you gently massage it into your skin. It is then rinsed off with warm water and a soft cloth, leaving the skin feeling soft and clean. Make sure not to tug at the skin while massaging the oil balm. Take extra care around the eye area as this skin is the most delicate and prone to skin aging.
My Thoughts
Prior to using a cleansing balm, I had only ever tried oil cleansers in a pump bottle. While I do like the balm texture, I feel that I most prefer the liquid oil cleansers because they are more hygienic in my opinion. I however had no problems with using the Heimish All Clean Cleansing Balm. Like most Korean beauty products, it came with a tiny spatula to scoop out the product, and store with the container. I absolutely love that about K-beauty brands, though I do wish you could have the option of purchasing with or without the spatula to save the Earth from plastic waste. The way that I use the Heimish All Clean Cleansing Balm is, before I shower I apply it to my dry skin. I then take a clean washcloth or makeup eraser to wipe it away before I enter the shower. I like to start my shower ahead of my oil cleansing because the steam from the shower really helps to open my pores and get deep down into them to remove all of the oil, pollution, sunscreen, and makeup from the day. I then continue to remove the residue with the cleanser that my skin needs that day while showering. I was sent by Heimish their All Clean Cleansing Balm along with their All Clean Green Foam. Together they pair very well, and made my face feel clean, fresh, and hydrated.
