I am a big fan of anything fun when it comes to skincare, and I knew about what I was getting into with this review. I had seen the Zombie Face Pack all over the Web and other brands’ versions; I quickly became enamored by these types of masks. At last I finally had the opportunity to try out the skin1004 Zombie face mask set. I have been a fan of skin1004 ever since incorporating Korean skincare into my routine. This mask is absolutely fun for Halloween, and it makes the perfect spooky skin treat for yourself or others.
What it is
This iwas the very first item introduced by Skin1004 when they launched their Zombie line of face masks. Ths a duo mask where you get the activator, and the powder separate, just like with their other albumin formulated face mask, Mummy Pack. This mask is suited for you if you are looking for that magical, fountain of youth product. It also has whitening/brightening benefits. If you are not a fan of non-vegan products, skip this one because it contains albumin.
Brand Claims
SKIN1004 claims that their Zombie Pack can do many wondrous things for your face. It will lift, tighten, exfoliate, balance the oil and water in skin, and improve the tone and texture of skin where it is applied.
How To Use
- Open the powder and pour it into a small bowl.
- Open the activator serum, and combine with the Zombie pack powder.
- Mix well with the supplied brush or other utensil, apply evenly on the face; making sure to avoid the areas around the mouth and eyes.
- Let the mask set for 15 minutes and remove with warm water, making sure to remove all residue. Though you may be tempted Do not tug or pull off the mask, use a warm face towel to loosen the mask and wash off.
- Apply the rest of your skin care regimen
This mask isn’t as liquiddy as I expected but it hardens relatively faster than other masks. Make sure you are ready to apply this mask after mixing together the powder and activator or you will have to use a new package of both the activator and powder.
My Thoughts
I read quite a few reviews about this mask before deciding to purchase it. The one thing mentioned in almost all the reviews I read about this face pack was that it had an awful odor to it. I actually got to try this amazing face pack for free because I won a YesStyle.com give away from their instagram account. I have never had so much fun using a face mask before till trying this one. I laughed so much, and took lot of photos of my face after the mask started setting in, and sent them to everyone. Needless to say I received a lot of LOL’S and laughing emojis that day. Some other things too but I will leave those out. I was warned about the smell of this mask but I honestly didn’t notice a pungent aroma while using it. I was glad to see that this product was not only fun but effective. Many fun products end up being a gimmick and a letdown. I will continue using my box, and definitely repurchasing later when my skin is in need of it.
